Dear Holiday Guests! We want our holiday home to be a second home for you. You should feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into furnishing it and hope that you find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help ensure a harmonious stay. Additionally, we have listed some rules that we hope you will understand. By treating the property properly, you help us to continue providing satisfactory accommodations for you and other guests in the future. General If you find anything missing in the facility or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. All items in the holiday apartment/house or on the balcony or terrace can and should be used by guests. Please handle the entire facility and inventory with care and treat the rental property gently. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions. Guests and Events: The number of guests staying overnight in the house must not exceed the number specified at the time of booking. If additional guests wish to stay overnight, this must be agreed upon and settled with the landlord in advance. Events, gatherings, or parties of any kind are strictly prohibited. Short-term visitors are occasionally allowed but only during the day and not for overnight stays. Camping or overnight stays in cars or motorhomes on the property are not permitted. Barbecuing and Fire: In Portugal, there is a very high risk of forest fires during the dry season. Therefore, barbecuing and open fires are strictly prohibited by law during these times. As sparks or negligence can quickly lead to forest fires, we ask you to strictly adhere to these regulations. Kitchen: Please handle the kitchen equipment and appliances with care. Since no one enjoys a dirty kitchen, please only place dishes, pots, and cutlery back in the cupboards in a clean and dry condition. Do not place hot pots and other hot items on the tables or countertops without a trivet. Always use a cutting board as a base when cutting. Please leave the inside of the oven and microwave clean. Damages: No one intentionally damages items, but accidents can happen. We would appreciate it if you report any damage that occurs so that we can address it before the end-of-stay cleaning. The tenant is liable for damages to the extent of the replacement costs. Ventilation: To prevent mold formation, please ventilate the rooms adequately, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes, especially after showering. Duty of Care: We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and ensure that fellow travelers and relatives comply with the rental conditions. The front door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows should be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent possible damage from storms or burglary. Use water and electricity sparingly. Disposal: Recyclable waste and residual waste can be disposed of in Carrascalinho. Do not dispose of waste, food leftovers, harmful liquids, or similar items in the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins, or shower! Avoid anything that could cause blockages in the pipes, including toilet paper (no hygiene products in the toilet). Cleaning: If you make a mess (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), please clean it up immediately. We ask you to leave the holiday apartment broom-clean upon departure and to place all used dishes back clean in the cupboards. Quiet Hours: For good neighborly relations, please observe public quiet hours, such as midday, night, and Sunday rest, and generally avoid excessive noise. Inside the holiday apartment, quiet should be maintained between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM out of consideration. There is a wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) in the holiday house. You will find the access code in the information folder in the holiday house. The use of the internet with your own Wi-Fi-enabled device (notebook, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free for the tenant. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord disclaims any liability in connection with the tenant's internet use. Only legal content should be accessed when using the internet. Smokers: Smoking is not allowed in the holiday house. Please leave the holiday house to smoke. Pets: Bringing pets is not allowed. Parking: You can park directly in front of the holiday house. If a parking space is provided, this does not constitute a custody agreement. The landlord is not liable for the loss or damage of vehicles parked or maneuvered on the property and their contents, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Parking of motorhomes, campers, trailers, and vehicles that are not cars is only allowed on the property with prior permission from the landlord. House Rights: In case of urgent repairs, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the holiday apartment without the guest's knowledge. Keys: Please do not hand over the keys to others. Loss of the keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable for the cost of replacement. Liability: The landlord is not liable for the guest's valuables. Arrival and Departure: Please inform us of your arrival and departure times in advance. Check-in times can be found in the booking portal. By booking the holiday apartment, we assume that the house rules are accepted. Thank you for your attention. We wish you a pleasant stay, lots of fun, relaxation, and rest. If you have any questions, we are happy to assist you. Your Hosts
